The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) is the independent regulator of financial services. The FCA require us to provide you with an Initial Disclosure Document to help you decide if our services are right for you. This document will provide you with information about Kardi Leasing, the products we offer, the services we will provide, what we charge for our services, insurance products, who regulates us, and what to do if you have a complaint

Products we offer

As an FCA regulated credit broker, we may introduce you to a range of finance providers who may be able to provide funding for your vehicle and also provide other services such as vehicle maintenance and servicing packages. We work with a range of funders in order to secure you the best deal. All products are optional.

We may be incentivised by the finance provider who provides the funding for your vehicle for introducing you to them.

We will provide you comparable details most appropriate to your needs from multiple funders. To do this we may need seek personal information about your circumstances as this may be relevant in order us to enable us to identify your exact requirements to establish a line of credit. It is extremely important that you provide us with up to date and accurate information so that we can find the product most suitable for you.

In order to provide you with information and access to protection products for your vehicle, Kardi Leasing is an Introducer Appointed Representative of Future 45 Limited, trading as APG Cover, is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, FRN 461102. APG Cover will contact you directly with further information.

Our Service

We will provide you comparable details most appropriate to your needs from multiple funders. To do this we may need seek personal information about your circumstances as this may be relevant in order us to enable us to identify your exact requirements to establish a line of credit. It is extremely important that you provide us with up to date and accurate information so that we can find the product most suitable for you.

What we charge for our services

Processing fees: We do not charge our clients processing fees. We operate on a commission basis, which means that we may receive a benefit from credit providers should you decide to enter into an agreement with us. The commission amounts may be variable or pre-determined depending on the product and or volume that we place with the chosen supplier.

Contract Extension: At the end of your agreement and subject to approval by the credit provider, you may be able to extend your contract. Kardi leasing charges a fee of £100 exc vat for this service. This service fee is payable via credit/debit card or a bank transfer. Please note that this option is not available with all funders, your sales representative will be able to advise

Contract Mileage Amendments: Subject to approval from the credit provider, any contract amendments will be charged at a fee of £100 exc vat. 

Transfer Of Contract: Please note that this is not available on all contracts. Where this option is available, we charge a fee of £250 exc vat which is paid to Kardi leasing as an administration fee. Depending on the credit provider secondary fees may vary, this will be set out in your contract. 

Cherished Number Plates: Kardi can assist in assigning cherished numberplates to your vehicle for a fee of £25 exc vat. please note that this request should be made before delivery is received. 

Cancellation Fee: You have 14 days to cancel a regulated contract. We do not charge a cancellation fee but we may charge a fee of up to £300 exc vat if delivery has been booked. This fee is to cover the cost of an aborted delivery charge

 

Who regulates us?

Kardi Leasing is a trading name of Kardi vehicles limited. Kardi vehicles is regulated by the Financial Conduct authority and the ICO. Kardi Leasing are also Leasing members of the BVRLA.

What information will we need from you?

For us to resolve your complaint within our permitted guidelines (detailed below), We request that you provide the following information:

Your full name and contact details
Your vehicle registration (if applicable)
Full details of your complaint
What you would expect as a resolve to this complaint

How we will deal with your complaint

We will try and resolve your complaint at local level. However, if you wish to escalate your complaint, this complaint will be passed onto the head of the department the complaint is made too. They will respond to you within 3 business days to gain further information from you and will aim to have a resolution within 5 business days. They may need to contact you in order to gain further information.

Please note, in all cases (whether the vehicle is live or has been returned), the complaint must be made by either the account holder, or someone who has written permission to speak on the account holder’s behalf. Anyone who is not a registered person on this account we will not enter into correspondence with.

Within 5 business days we will thoroughly investigate your complaint (in line with the FCA Complaints rules) and send a Final Response to you.

Closing of complaints

After you have received and acknowledged our Final Response, we will then consider this matter closed. In closing this complaint, this does not prevent you from exercising your right to refer the matter to the Financial Ombudsman Service or the BVLRA

What to do if you are not satisfied the outcome

If you have a regulated contract (private individual) and are not satisfied by our Final Response, you can refer the matter to the Financial Ombudsman or the BVRLA

You must refer your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service within six months of our Final Response.

BVRLA

As a Leasing Broker and member of the British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association (BVRLA) you may refer any unresolved disputes to them.

The BVRLA will investigate potential breaches of the BVRLA Code of Conduct and will aim to resolve matters using information presented by both parties to the dispute. Any information the BVRLA requests from us will be sent to the BVRLA within 5 business days. The BVRLA will provide both parties with its findings and recommendations within 30 days.
